SEO Content Writer

We are AhaSlides, a SaaS (software as a service) startup based in Hanoi, Vietnam. AhaSlides is an audience engagement platform that allows public speakers, teachers, event hosts… to connect with their audience and let them interact in real-time. We launched AhaSlides in July 2019. It’s now being used and trusted by users from over 180 countries.

We are looking for 1 SEO Content Writer to join our team to help bring AhaSlides to even more people from all around the world.

What you will do

• Write articles, social media posts, announcements, newsletters… for thousands of AhaSlides’ users and prospects.
• Carry out market research, including doing keyword research and communicating directly with AhaSlides’ user base to understand your audience. Based on that knowledge, plan out content strategies and execute them.
• Optimise the content so that it ranks high on search result pages.
• You can also be involved in other growth-hacking projects at AhaSlides if you’d like. Our team members tend to be proactive, curious and rarely stay still in predefined roles.
• This is a full-time position, though we are also open to part-time applicants with the right experience.
• During lockdown periods, you will be working from home. We will discuss in detail in the interview.

What you should be good at

• Writing effective SEO content in English. It’s highly preferable that you have done it before, and have links to showcase your work.
• Having general experience in SEO is a big advantage.
• If you haven’t done any SEO writing, just being good at impactful writing or copywriting in general is also OK. We can train you the technical stuff.
• Having some experience in managing social media and content platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Quora, Youtube…) will be an advantage.
• Being able to write in a second language (other than English and Vietnamese) will be a nice advantage.
• Being a teacher / trainer will be an advantage, as it’s one of AhaSlides’ key customer groups.

What you will get

• Salary range for this position is from 12,000,000 VND to 30,000,000 VND (net), depending on experience/qualification.
• Performance-based bonuses are also available.

• Current team size: 14. Most team members speak English fluently. We are the pros in creating tech products (web / mobile apps), and online marketing (SEO and other growth hacking practices).
