Karl har mere end to årtiers erfaring inden for undervisningsdesign og gamification. Han er forfatter til adskillige bøger, herunder The Gamification of Learning and Instruction, er Guild Master hos The Learning Guild og modtager af ATD's Distinguished Contribution to Talent Development Award.
