Try some questions from the course

Question 1 of 3

Why is it worth reading the open enrolment email properly each year?

Plans, prices and your own life all change from year to year. The email is the main moment to check that your cover still fits. Plans do not stay frozen, and HR does not pick for you if you stay silent.

Lesson 1, The email everyone ignores, teaches this. See the outline

Question 2 of 3

In a year with very little care, which plan usually costs you less overall?

With little care you rarely reach the deductible, so the premium is the main cost. The plan with the lower premium and higher deductible usually comes out cheaper in a quiet year.

Lesson 3, Choosing well, teaches this. See the outline

Question 3 of 3

You are not sure whether a life event lets you change cover. What do you do first?

Windows are limited, so ask early. The benefits contact can tell you whether the event counts under your plan before the window closes. Guessing, or waiting, can cost you the chance to change.

Lesson 5, Speak up and apply, teaches this. See the outline
