Try some questions from the course

Question 1 of 3

Dana said her house is not in a flood zone. What is the most useful thing to do next?

The most useful reply explains the risk in plain words and gives Dana a quote, so she can decide with the full picture. Agreeing with her, or leaving flood out, means she never gets to make an informed choice.

Lesson 1, "I'm not in a flood zone", teaches this. See the outline

Question 2 of 3

A customer says, "I'll think about it" after hearing the flood offer. What do you record?

Record what really happened: flood was offered and the customer wants time. Do not record a decline they did not give, and do not leave the offer unrecorded.

Lesson 3, The flood conversation, teaches this. See the outline

Question 3 of 3

A customer calls just after floodwater has gone down. What helpful first step can you take?

Help the customer report the loss and ask for photos and a list of damaged items. This supports the claim without promising what will be paid.

Lesson 5, Speak up and apply, teaches this. See the outline
