Try some questions from the course

Question 1 of 3

What does a screen reader do with the poster image in the announcement?

Without alt text, a screen reader can't read what is inside an image. The date, place and reason to click were only in the picture, so the reader never hears them. Put the key details in the message itself.

Lesson 1, Why it matters, teaches this. See the outline

Question 2 of 3

Which link text is best for a message about the travel policy?

Good link text still makes sense out of context. Screen reader users often jump from link to link, so "Click here" tells them nothing.

Lesson 2, The rules, teaches this. See the outline

Question 3 of 3

Which message follows the checklist best?

The second message gives the date, time and place as text, asks for one clear action, uses a CamelCase hashtag and puts the emoji at the end.

Lesson 4, Apply it, teaches this. See the outline
