- Language: deliver it in a language and vocabulary your people understand.

FAQ
Common questions
Can I run California workplace violence prevention (SB 553) training online?
The course itself is self-paced and online, and the live deck lets you add a live session. Whether online delivery meets your local rules depends on the law that applies to you, so check Cal. Labor Code §6401.9 (SB 553) or ask your own counsel. The law flagged for this template expects learners to be able to ask a qualified trainer questions while they train: run the live deck, or give a phone or chat line that is answered during the course. Email answered later doesn't count.
How often is this training needed?
When the plan is first established, then annually; extra training when a new or previously unrecognized hazard is found or the plan changes; training records kept ≥ 1 year.
Who needs this training?
All employees at covered California workplaces (offices, warehouses, restaurants, hotels, non-3342 clinics); supervisor add-on page in Lesson 6.
What records should I keep?
Record completion in your own LMS or record system, so you can show who finished the course and when. From the template notes: records kept ≥ 1 year.
Can I edit the content?
Yes, everything. Change the wording, swap scenarios for ones from your workplace, add your logo, or remove parts that don't apply. Keep anything your own law requires you to cover.
