Finance Manager

The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to own AhaSlides’ finance operations across entities and to support leadership with clear, reliable financial insights.
This role blends accounting discipline, compliance ownership, and strategic finance thinking. You’ll ensure business-as-usual runs smoothly, while helping us optimise costs, manage cash wisely, and support valuation and M&A conversations.
This is a player-coach role - ideal for someone who enjoys both getting the numbers right and using them to shape decisions.
What you will do
- Accounting operations & financial hygiene:
- Oversee payroll inputs, claims processing, and monthly close.
- Perform and review reconciliations (Stripe ↔ database, bank, affiliates).
- Maintain proper documentation and financial record organisation.
- Ensure strong access control and financial data security.
- Compliance & reporting (multi-entity):
- Coordinate tax compliance across Vietnam, Singapore, and the Netherlands.
- Prepare and review VAS and IFRS financial reports.
- Manage statutory deadlines (tax filings, AGM, annual returns).
- Work closely with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors.
- Budgeting & spend visibility:
- Track actual vs budget across payroll, marketing, and operations.
- Highlight variances and provide early financial signals.
- Support teams in understanding spend and financial trade-offs.
- Cost optimisation & treasury:
- Identify opportunities to reduce transaction fees and financial frictions.
- Support forex planning and cash management across accounts.
- Monitor cash yield and explore low-risk treasury improvements.
- Recommend process improvements that increase financial efficiency.
- Strategic finance & decision support:
- Support valuation and M&A conversations with reliable data and analysis.
- Prepare investor and diligence materials as needed.
- Help leadership understand financial levers impacting company value.
- Contribute to building scalable finance processes as the company grows.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years in accounting / finance with increasing ownership
- Experience with multi-entity or international compliance
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and audit processes
- Hands-on mindset — comfortable executing and improving processes
- High attention to detail with structured working style
- Strong communication skills with non-finance stakeholders
- SaaS or tech company experience
- Exposure to IFRS reporting
- Experience supporting fundraising, M&A, or valuation discussions
- Familiarity with Stripe or subscription revenue models
- Treasury / forex exposure
