HR Manager

We are AhaSlides, a SaaS (software as a service) startup based in Hanoi, Vietnam. AhaSlides is an audience engagement platform that allows public speakers, teachers, event hosts… to connect with their audience and let them interact in real-time. We launched AhaSlides in July 2019. It’s now being used and trusted by millions of users from over 200 countries all around the world.

We currently have 18 members. We are looking for an HR Manager to join our team to accelerate our growth to the next level.

What you will do

• Provide all staff with the guidance and support needed for them to progress their career.
• Support the team managers in carrying out performance reviews.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and training activities.
• Onboard new staff and ensure that they transition well into the new roles.
• Be in charge of Compensation & Benefits.
• Identify and effectively address the employees’ potential conflicts amongst themselves and with the company.
• Initiate activities, policies, and perks to improve working conditions and staff’s happiness.
• Organise company’s team building events and trips.
• Recruit new staff (mainly for software, product development and product marketing roles).

What you should be good at

• You should have at least 3 years of experience working in HR.
• You have in-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
• You should have excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. You’re good at listening, facilitating conversations, and explaining tough or complicated decisions.
• You are result-driven. You love setting out measurable goals, and you can work independently to achieve them.
• Having experience working in a startup will be an advantage.
• You should speak and write in English reasonably well.

What you will get

• Salary range for this position is from 12,000,000 VND to 30,000,000 VND (net), depending on your experience/qualification.
• Performance-based bonuses are also available.
