Senior QA Engineer

We are AhaSlides, a SaaS (software as a service) startup based in Hanoi, Vietnam. AhaSlides is an audience engagement platform that allows public speakers, teachers, event hosts… to connect with their audience and let them interact in real-time. We launched AhaSlides in July 2019. It’s now being used and trusted by millions of users from over 200 countries all around the world.

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team to accelerate our growth engine to the next level.

What you will do

• Build and maintain a quality driven engineering culture that helps ship products rapidly and with good confidence.
• Plan, develop and execute test strategy for new product features.
• Introduce QA processes to get effective test signal and scale testing efforts for our products.
• Work as part of the engineering team to leverage automation for scalable solutions and reduce regression effort.
• Develop automated E2E tests across multiple web apps.
• You can also be involved in other aspects of what we do at AhaSlides (such as growth hacking, UI design, customer support). Our team members tend to be proactive, curious and rarely stay still in predefined roles.

What you should be good at

• Over 3 years of relevant work experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Experienced with test planning, designing and execution, performance and stress testing.
• Experienced with implementing and maintaining quality test automation.
• Experienced with writing test documentation at all levels.
• Experienced with testing web application.
• Having great understanding of usability and what makes a good User Experience is a big advantage.
• Having experience in a product team (as opposed to working in an outsourcing company) is a big advantage.
• Having scripting / programming ability (in Javascript or Python) will be a big advantage.
• You should read and write in English reasonably well.

What you will get

• Salary range for this position is from 15,000,000 VND to 30,000,000 VND (net), depending on experience/qualification.
• Performance-based bonuses are also available.
