Senior UI / UX Designer

We are AhaSlides, a SaaS (software as a service) company. AhaSlides is an audience engagement platform that allows leaders, managers, educators, and speakers to connect with their audience and let them interact in real-time. We launched AhaSlides in July 2019. It’s now being used and trusted by millions of users from over 200 countries all around the world.

We are a Singapore corporation with a subsidiary in Vietnam and a soon-to-be-set-up subsidiary in the EU. We have 40 members, coming from Vietnam (mostly), Singapore, the Philippines, the UK, and Czech. 

We are looking for a Senior UI / UX Desinger to join our team in Hanoi, as part of our effort to scale up sustainably.

What you will do

• Do user research, interviews, and direct interactions with our diverse user community to gain a deep understanding of their problems, contexts, and purposes.
• Carry usability testing on live features as well as working prototypes.
• Design and improve our user flows to achieve our usability targets and product growth targets.
• Address our UX issues and “UX debts”.
• Improve our team’s knowledge of the best UI / UX practices. Inspire them to strive for a better user experience. Practice user sympathy and empathy everyday.
• Improve the overall branding of AhaSlides.
• Make the AhaSlides the most fun, simple, and meaningful engagement software in the world!

What you should be good at

• You have a proven track record of creating friendly, impactful user interfaces for web apps and mobile apps.
• You have done a lot of usability testing in your career.
• You can build prototypes rapidly.
• You should have awesome graphic design and creative skills, with an established portfolio
• Being able to sketch well is an advantage.
• Being able to do motion graphics is an advantage.
• Having an understanding of HTML/CSS and web elements is an advantage.
• You should read and write in English well.
